About Colin

Colin graduated from the IU Jacobs School of Music in 2017 having trained as a baritone under Professors Patricia Stiles and Jane Dutton specializing in healthy vocal technique, expressive performance, and vocal development grounded in one guiding philosophy: sing naturally.

His approach emphasizes efficient breath use, balanced and dependable production, and resonance that works with the body—not against it. By removing tension, unnecessary manipulation, and vocal strain, Colin helps singers build voices they can rely on in any style or setting.

With experience in performance, audio production, and vocal pedagogy, he offers a rare blend of technical precision and practical application. Lessons take place in a private home studio and will include high-quality audio recordings for review and growth. Whether preparing for auditions, strengthening technique, or finding a personal sound, singers are guided toward clarity, freedom, and authentic expression.

Private Studio & Home

My home studio is housed in the largest bedroom of my home and is purpose-built for vocal training and recording. This dedicated space allows me to offer high-quality, individualized instruction in a focused, distraction-free environment (except for the occasional "meow" from my cats). By teaching from home, I’m able to keep rates accessible while providing students with premium equipment, personal attention, and a calm, professional learning atmosphere.
